Eric,

You may wish to consult the Henrico County chancery causes for more
info. on Charles Wills. A search of the LVA Chancery Records Index (link
below) turns up a Henrico case (index no. 1836-013) where Charles Wills
(the son) is plaintiff and John Alvey etc. is defendant. I took a quick
look at the actual case file papers this morning - they revealed that
the case involves Wills family property (property on E street was
mentioned - there may be more properties discussed in there as well).
The case may also contain more information on the family but I did not
look at each page. The original case file is available for research in
the LVA manuscript room.
