Joanne,

Thanks for the link. Son just gave us a few days at the beach to celebrate
our anniversary and my birthday, so I sorta just skimmed it and will read it
further when I get back.

My intent in writing the story is not to promote one or another version of
the "First" Thanksgiving, but to show there was at least some time, when the
white settlers and the Native Americans could celebrate together. I agree
that kids should be exposed to as much history as possible, but am not
enthusiastic about the Virginians' Thanksgiving because it was just among
themselves and not the neighbors who helped them so very much in the New
World.
