The Mutual Assurance Society had City and Country Divisions until the Country Division was abolished in 1820. They started in 1794 and are still going, amazingly enough. Each structure on the property was elective, thus if one had 5 buildings, 3 might be insured with no mention of the others. Each building has a stated function and value with the aggregate given as well. A map typically accompanied the policy with the relationship of the buildings to one another in space and with the building details also listed.
