Phebe- I have used chalk before - it works well on vertical surfaces and
washes off in the rain- a pair of pruning loppers will get rid of the
brambles in your way- watch out for yellowjackets-you will probably want to
wear a pair of jeans and a long sleeved shirt for ticks- Barrett
