Hi - a reminder that the Virginia Historical Inventory is a good source
of information on these topics (http://www.lva.lib.va.us/dlp)
A keyword search resulted in 11 hits and references also to a
Merchant's Hope Plantation.
One of the records is linked to a photograph of the church.
In many cases, the exact location of the structures are noted on
the maps that accompany the database and images of photos and
survey reports. In this case, the church is shown to be on
Route 641 off Route 10, which back then was also known as
Merchant's Hope Road.
