Dear Barbara,
This order may be found on Miscellaneous Roll 485 at the LVA. This roll
contains the dates for officers' commission in Virginia from 1792/3
onwards; it is not complete. But if I remember correctly, it also
contains early orders issued by Governor Henry Lee in the 1790s, and the
General Order of August 15, 1794, might be on this roll. I have some
information on these orders somewhere in my files when I was preparing
for my book on the Virginia Militia: _Defending the Old Dominion:
Virginia and Its Militia in the War of 1812. _I will be away from my
home much of the day, but I will try to see if I can locate any copies I
may have made and get back to you as soon as possible.
