Charlotte,

I expect to be attacked for what I may say that is not in the mainsteam of 
thought for Virginians, but it is decidedly uncivil to attack me for staying 
on the sidelines and not getting into the fray.

Now, do YOU have anything to add to the discussion of those 
southerners/Virginians who freed their slaves before Lincoln forced their 
hand?
