The author of Jefferson's Pillow, Mr. Wilkins, an NPR radio commentator, also served under Presidents Kennedy and Johnson, notably in the the Justice Department. He is currently Clarence J. Robinson Professor of history at George Mason University.
Mr. Wilkins will be the Keynote Speaker to kick-off the Museum's African American History Project called "Closing the Gap", it centers on our region's history.
