Seeking any secondary literature or even yr opinions about Ann Cotton's
account of Bacon's Rebellion. The canon says Mercy Warren's writing on the American
Revolution was a "first," but Cotton belies that and I'm going to try, as
always, to correct the canon. any help appreciated. thanks. Louise Bernikow
