During WWII small outposts staffed by military servicemen were established
in Virginia near the Atlantic coast to observe aircraft. There was one
near our home on my grandfather's farm. The four servicemen stationed
there ate three meals a day at our house.
Does anyone know what branch of the military served these outposts and
where I could find information?
