The vehicles and clothing visible in photos 1 and 4 suggest that they
were taken around 1925- 1930. (Note the lengths of the women's skirts
in photo 1, and the row of cars in the foreground of photo 4.) Could it
possibly be a college dormitory burning? The presence of several women
might suggest a woman's college. If your mother saved them, could they
be associated with a school she attended?
