A Lemuel Yerby married Fanny M. (Levy) Tomlin in 1821. Perhaps your Lemuel
was their son.
G.H.S. King, _Marriages of Richmond County, VA, 1668-1853_ (Easley, SC:
Southern Historical Press, 1986), p. 217: "Tomlin, Moore Fauntleroy and
Frances M. Levy, bond 23 Apr 1805. Ezekiel Levy (b); John Edwards (w).
[Moore Fauntleroy Tomlin was the son of Robert and Susanna (Fauntleroy)
Tomlin, q.v., p. 217]."
P. 239: "Yerby, Lemuel and Fanny M. Tomlin (widow), bond 19 Jan 1821. John
Burke (b)."
I'm interested in the elder Lemuel's connection to the other Yerbys of the
Northern Neck. Who were his parents?
