For you across the Atlantic who might wonder why this matters Dalston is trending trendy - a section of a down at heel area which is becoming gentrified, or whatever the modern equivalent of that with iPads is.
Estate agents (realtors) like inventing or expanding names. In Somerset where I live there is a rather rough village called Coleford which has small section of older houses. In the last twenty years this has acquired the name "Old Coleford" simply because estate agents invented it to distinguish the area from the main village.
