Historic Rehabilitation Incentives Seminar Set for May 31st

In honor of National Historic Preservation Month, Bedford Main Street, Inc.
will be hosting a seminar on May 31st to provide information about the
local, state, and federal incentives available to property owners who are
rehabilitating historic properties.

The seminar will be held at Bedford's 1838 Historic Meeting House at 153
West Main Street in Centertown Bedford on Tuesday May 31st at 7:00pm.
Admission is free.

This program will be especially useful to real estate agents, developers,
homeowners, and commercial property owners who are looking for ways to help
finance improvements on their properties.

While some incentives discussed will be specific to Bedford, many will be
useful to people from throughout the region, including the state & federal
Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credit program.

The May 31st seminar is being sponsored by Bedford Main Street, Inc., the
Bedford Historical Society, the City of Bedford, and the Virginia Department
of Historic Resources.
