Kathleen Much is correct. The computer and distributes Va-Hist messages
is deliberately set to prohibit the sending of attachments and documents
in codes. This is a security measure.
Please respect the convenience of all subscribers and post messages in
as vanilla a manner as possible.

I would have liked to read the messages about wedding rings sent to
VA-HIST in code. Could the posters please resend them in plain text?
Many of us cannot decode messages sent in MIME or other codes. List
rules prescribe plain text.
