Let me second Jon's endorsement of George Morrow's extraordinary
works, which, I suspect, might be discounted somewhat being self-
published. George is a deft writer and a probing scholar; the
pamphlets are thoroughly professional. His work on Samuel Henley
was useful to my own recent piece in Notes and Queries on Henley's
sordid reputation among scholars of English literature and his
supposed "dark beginnings" in Virginia while professor of moral
philosophy at William and Mary.
