I find it enlightening as well. I saw several post that dumped on liberals and Republicans. It is what happens in an open discussion. When I was growing up in Pennsylvania, my father shocked his parents by becoming a Democrat. Most of the African Americans in my community belonged to the party of Lincoln, the Republicans. Now the parties are reversed which often happens in a Democracy. Is is the people that make the party and not vice versa.

Quite to the contrary, for the most part the discussion has stayed well away
from polemics and I've found it to be very enlightening. Thank you to all
the scholars who have contributed their thoughts--it's all been quite
eye-opening.
Keep up the good work.
