Loretta: So far as I know Loretta,no. My dad's family is origonally from Iredell County,NC. The family has been traced back to 1800 by my cousin James Steele who is a professor in the Political Science Dept. at NCA&T University which is located in Greensboro,NC. I will try and re-read the information researched by him and my mom Jimmie Steele who is a retired history educator. Also for fun you can listen to my brother's jazz program on the Internet at WFDD.com which is own by Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem,NC. He is a graduate of WFU and is a Media Relations Manager for the WFU Medical Center/Baptist Hospital. The program is called "Jazz Place" and is on every Friday night at either 8:00 or 9:00 Pm. Pass this along to Anita so she can get a break from the daily grind and listen in. Jane Steele.
