In the transcript of Hite v. Fairfax, my focus was on Thomas Morgan, who sold his land and in consideration for that land he "received" a slave named Jack.

If others sold land and received  payment in slaves, one would almost have to go case by case. 

The reason that I answered the way I did, the gentleman asking the question was looking for names of owners.  

I wish I could be of more help, as there were several other members of the family living in the area.  I rechecked my notes and there are no mention of slaves they owned.
