Echoing Professor Hardwick's frustration, it is times like this when I hearken back to my Myers-Briggs Type and I draw strength from the prayer that goes with it. I am an INTJ. The prayer for our type is:
"Lord, grant me grace to listen to the opinions of others, wrong though they may be."
It also helps to (1) keep a sense of humor and (2) not take oneself too seriously.
I, too, think it is time to move on.
