In celebration of Women's History Month, the Library of Virginia is
pleased to host the poster exhibition honoring eight Virginia women for
their accomplishments and important contributions to the commonwealth of
Virginia.  Sponsored by the Virginia Foundation for Women and The Delta
Kappa Gamma Society International, the exhibition will be in the lobby of
the Library through the month of March.  The honorees for 2003 are Nancy
Langhorne Astor, Pearl Bailey, Anna Whitehead Bodeker, Mary Ann Elliott,
Annabelle Ravenscroft Gibson Jenkins, Frances Benjamin Johnston, Anne
Dobie Peebles, and Anne Bannister Spencer.

Also, a reminder that the exhibition _Virginia Roots Music:  Creating and
Conserving Tradition_ closes on Saturday, March 22.
