Meet Alexandria’s own Craig Tuminaro, of Colonial House fame and learn
first-hand about his experience on PBS's latest hands-on history series.
Two dozen men, women and children recently found out what life was like in
circa-1630 colonial America as they struggled to create a functioning,
economically viable settlement on an isolated stretch of the Maine coast.
The result of their five-month experience is Colonial House, an eight-part
series that premiere nationally in May on PBS (WETA-TV 26).
Sponsored by Gadsby's Tavern Museum, Alexandria Archaeology Museum, and
Carlyle House Historic Park.
Saturday, June 19
10:00 a.m.
FREE, but reservations required.
