It is interesting how you defend Jefferson with a "let you without sin...."
but do not extend the same defense to Lincoln. Do we see "double standard"
here?
History affords greater honors to Lincoln than to Jefferson. Oh, Jefferson
is credited with writing the Declaration of Independence, which was ignored
when the constitution was finally compiled. Lincoln, on the other hand,
preserved the union as it was intended by the founding fathers. Even in the
SOLs which define the studies of Famous Americans by Virginia children,
Lincoln is listed and studied earlier and more often than Jefferson.
