I am asked all the time how information on the internet impacts the
publishing business (or should I in this context say the "scrolls"). The
truth is that the publishing business has more to do with marketing and
promotion than it does with the books themselves. Unfortunate but true.
The only saving grace that the book publishing world currently has is that
you still can't curl up in bed with an internet connection and read it
comfortably. When that happens we will all be in trouble.
