I am researching watchmakers in Fincastle, ca 1835 or so, in conjunction with
an article I am writing for The Fincastle Herald.

The article was assigned after a watch from Fincastle with the name of
watchmaker Samuel C. Whitside appeared on Ebay and it was brought to the
editor's attention.

Any information on watchmakers in that time period and in this locality would
be greatly appreciated.

Anita Firebaugh
