I would recommend that you check with archivist Quatro Hubbard within
the library section at the Department of Historic Resources in Richmond,
Virginia, about any subsequent archaeological work or reports concerning
Shadwell.

Subject: Shadwell
Hello: I am starting work on a biographical study of Thmas Jefferson
and want to try to get some leads on the house at Shadwell --
particularly a physical description. I've checked out Malone, of
course, and Marie Kimball's Road to Glory which cites some archeological
work on the site in the 1940s. Does anyone know of any subsequent work
on the site or reports on the Shadwell site?
Thanks.
