The DAR Library's Search Service is detailed on our webpage at www.dar.org
<http://www.dar.org> . Even though the fees we charge were raised a couple
of years ago, we continue to get many inquiries and people pay!

Subject: Research fees
Would those of you connected to historical societies with
reference
libraries, please contact me directly regarding fees for service?
The Albemarle County Historical Society is revising our fee
structure and we are interested in what other institutions may
charge
when answering reference questions - specifically those which come
in by
mail and take several hours.
Thank you.
