I have a chancery cause heard in Washington Co. Virginia in 1896 that lists
the plaintiff as HAGERSTOWN S.E. & M. CO. Nowhere in the suit (all one
page of it) does it spell out the name. I assumed it was a Maryland
company but there is nothing to verify that. Anyone familiar with what
this full business name might be?

Thanks,
