Unlike some past discussions of slavery and the Civil War, the recent
exchanges on Va-Hist have been interesting and enlightening and generally
polite.

Let us please keep it that way, and let us not annoy persons of different
views with comments on current Virginia politics. There are other discussion
forums for that purpose.
