The response to piggybacking Ironmasters on this month's MAAC meeting
in Virginia Beach (as was done a few years ago at the Rehoboth
meeting), VA has been underwhealming. So The Ironmasters Session has
been cancelled. Two of the papers will be presented in other sessions
(Browning's on Falling Creek and Veit's on NJ Blooming). For those of
you who did express an interest, I'm sorry. Maybe it will fly another
time.
For Virginians, especially those from the Richmond area, Falling
Creek IW will be holding an open house the afternoon of March 24th.
This will include site tours (where you can see the exposed timbers),
artifacts (including mossers), a smithing demonstration, and re-
enactors.
