I should have added that the below are original copies from the clerks
office.

The Library of Virginia has Personal Property Tax Books from 1853-1913.

Subject: Campbell County Land Tax after 1850
This question goes out to anyone who does frequent property research at
the Campbell County Clerk's Office.
When I was there last week, I inquired about the location of their land
tax records, and was told that they don't have them.
Jones Memorial Library has land tax records for most counties (including
Campbell) on microfilm up to 1850, but not after.
I'm looking for Campbell County records between 1870 and 1895. Any
suggestions? Richmond?
